Keystroke Privacy & Local Processing
Borno processes all suggestions and layout transliterations locally on your computer. We do not collect, monitor, or send your keystrokes, passwords, or typed text to any server. Your conversations and documents remain completely private and secure on your device.
Offline License Verification
For users with a Premium license, verification is performed entirely offline. The application generates a unique PC ID locally based on encrypted hardware identifiers (CPU signature, BIOS serial, and hard drive serial) to match your license key. This sensitive hardware information is kept strictly local and is never transmitted to our servers during license validation.
Borno SyncType (Voice Typing)
Borno Voice Typing enables you to use your Android phone as a wireless mic. The speech recognition service is powered by Google Speech Recognition. The connection between your phone and your PC is established directly over your local Wi-Fi network. Borno does not record, upload, or analyze your audio streams or converted text.
No Data Collection or Analytics
We do not collect any personal data, track usage statistics, or integrate third-party analytics into Borno Keyboard. The editor operates completely independently of the cloud, ensuring your desktop activities remain private.
